Travel Blogging or Junk Blogging?

I read a lot of travel blogs, and lately it seems that an overwhelming majority of the so-called "travel bloggers" blog at least once a week only to keep their blog "active".

Rolf Potts' Vagabonding, Anil's foXnoMad and Gary Arndt's Everything Everywhere are a few popular (and very commercial) examples.  Not that they don't contain any useful information, but the amount of junk posts on those blogs is too high.

Hi Neeraj,

Thanks for the feedback. I've tried to maintain a once a weekday posting schedule for a while now and never post just for the sake of posting. I have thought about posting less and would like to know what types of posts or frequency you would like to see?

Hi Anil,

I normally post when I have some useful information or some travel experience to share. However, I understand everyone can have their own definition of "useful" and "experience"

Having said that, if my blog was as popular as yours, I would probably feel obligated to post more frequently than I currently do. :)
